Court Solidarity

Attending someone's arraignment or trial is a GREAT way to show support and can make a defendant's otherwise boring, and sometimes scary day!

In DC, court usually opens around 9, though it doesn't usually get started until 10:30 or 11 am. Go to 500 Indiana Avenue NW (leave your leather-person, camera, etc. at home), Judiciary Square Metro Stop. You can find out which court room to go to at the Information desk in the front lobby. Head to the court room and (this is the best part) wait!

Stuff You Can Take

Letters of support for folks who are going before the judge, food, lots of love and hugs, signs (though the marshalls will likely take them away), crossword puzzles, etc.
